Ann-Sophie

Not an image is delivered to our clients without Ann-Sophie’s approval. Quality control with the highest of standards.

The daughter of a Danish furniture designer, Ann-Sophie comes from a beautiful island in Denmark, where she grew up with her parents and four sisters.

Her love of photography saw her travel to New York City to undertake her education at the widely renowned International Center of Photography. After graduation she pursued work in the advertising field, with particular focus on lifestyle.

In 2017 she joined Christian Oth Studio, New York City’s premiere wedding photography studio, to work with Andrew. For 7 years she traveled the world shooting weddings and learning the craft before she and Andrew made the move to create their own studio.

Ann-Sophie is the quieter, more considered half of the team. Her Scandi roots and influence see her take care and time with her work to get things done with the highest respect for the craft. Her love of European art and photo magazines inspire a sleek edge visible in her portraits.

When she isn’t working, you can find in the gym or in the colder months on ski slopes. A tennis obsessive, she tries to catch as many matches as possible and in July every year, keeps a close eye on the Tour de France.

A lover of travel, Ann-Sophie has been to every continent but Antarctica. While on the road, she seeks out unique furniture or homewares and is forever on the search for the best coffee.

Andrew

Andrew is the dreamer.

His photography journey started in journalism, enthralled by telling the story, human connection and beauty in truth. After 3 years of working in newspapers “Down Under,” he moved to New York City. For the next 14 years, Andrew covered the world’s biggest stories. Presidential Elections, COVID-19, protests and natural disasters. Working up to an elite level, Andrew was selected as one of the five photographers given access to the courtroom for President Trump’s first arraignment. His work has been recognized by numerous journalistic institutions, most recently, being part of Reuters’ Pulitzer Prize winning team in investigative reporting.

He started shooting weddings with the Christian Oth Studio in 2012. The work felt like a natural extension of his story teller mindset. Under Christian’s tutelage, he spent the next decade traveling the world photographing bigger and grander weddings, learning how to take photos in any situation and fine tuning his skills. Loving the process from meeting a client, photographing their wedding and then delivering stunning photos of their day, Andrew found deep satisfaction in this skill, the most important story in a person’s life. In 2025, he left journalism behind and went full time into this journey with his wife and best friend, Ann-Sophie.

Andrew is an absolute lover of creativity. He reads books daily and is obsessed with live music of all genres. Classical, pop, heavy metal, schlager. You name it, Andrew wants to see it live. Growing up in Southern Australia, he is a huge fan of Australian Rules Football, the sport he grew up playing, breaking numerous bones along the way.
